Applications & Design Features

For supporting timber joists and structural composite timber from masonry walls. Straddle to comply with fire regulations in party wall applications. Robotically welded to avoid construction defects and galvanised after manufacturer to BS6178, eliminating edge corrosion. Special sizes available.

Installation Requirements

600mm of cured brick/block work above hanger before loading. All hangers for timbers 150mm deep and above are made 10mm undersized for notching, which provides a flush ceiling line.

Material Specification

2.5mm mild steel BS1449. Hot dipped galvanised to BS729:1971. Stainless steel hangers made to order.
